What happens to the numbers you enter, and what Calcora measures about how the site is used, only if you allow it.
Last updated: October 14, 2026
In short
- The numbers you enter in Calcora's calculators are processed in your browser. They are not sent to Calcora, and Calcora does not store them.
- Calcora uses Google Analytics 4 only if you choose “Accept analytics”. Until you do, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookies are set.
- You can change your choice at any time with “Analytics settings”, at the bottom of every page.
- Calcora does not run advertising scripts.
The numbers you enter
Every calculation runs in your browser, using code that loads with the page. The balances, rates, incomes, values, and other amounts you enter are not sent to Calcora's servers and are not saved by Calcora. They are cleared when you leave or reload the page. Calcora does not send the values you enter to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, Calcora uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. Your browser then loads a script from Google, and Google Analytics may collect information such as:
- the pages you visit, and how you arrived, such as the website that linked to Calcora;
- your approximate location, such as your country or city, which Google derives from your IP address;
- your device, browser, and operating system;
- how you interact with the site, such as page views, scrolling, and clicks.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies, named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, to tell visits and visitors apart. Calcora's analytics tag turns off Google signals and ad personalization, and it does not allow advertising storage or advertising uses of the data. Calcora uses the resulting reports to see which calculators are used and how the site performs. Google processes this information under its own terms; see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your choices
- On your first visit, Calcora asks whether to allow analytics. Analytics stays off unless you choose “Accept analytics”, and you can use every calculator either way.
- You can change your choice at any time with “Analytics settings”, at the bottom of every page or below. If you reject analytics or withdraw consent, Calcora deletes the Google Analytics cookies on this site and stops Google Analytics.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, use a browser extension that blocks trackers, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Calcora remembers your choice in your browser's local storage, under the name calcora-analytics-consent. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to Calcora, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes it. Calcora will then ask again.
Information sent when you load a page
Like most websites, the servers and networks that deliver Calcora may record standard technical information for each request, such as your IP address, your browser type, and the page requested, to keep the site secure and running.
Cookies
Calcora's calculators do not use cookies. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept analytics.
